The capital works will be completed by December 2006. Public
areas will be adopted and maintained by the local authorities.
Private buildings improved using grant funds will be maintained
by their owners (grants will be subject to a condition regarding
maintenance).
The Town Manager Initiative is funded by the scheme for the
first 3 years following this it will be continued by the Chamber
of Trade using income raised from events, promotions and sponsorship
from the business community.
